Since 1991, Lori has been owner, chief executive officer and interior designer of Bay Area Floors and Design Carpet One.
Before opening up her first store in Redwood City, Lori worked in the fashion industry for over ten years between San Francisco and Manhattan. When she stepped foot into flooring and home improvement, she took the industry by storm with her boutique style.
Her goal from the beginning was to mesh what she had learned from both industries to create a space that separated itself from the rest. Her 20,000 sq. ft. showroom that features flooring, furniture, vanities and d�cor does exactly that. Not only did she want to make her space as enjoyable as possible for her clients, but for other designers as well.
Outside of her showroom, Lori has been an active participant in the surrounding communities. She has always made it a point to value her professional involvement with the Peninsula.
As a single mother of three, Lori understands the value of turning a house into a home, while creating a space that is fashionable and functional.
As Project Manager, Bryan guides customers through the entire project; from picking the floors, to planning the project, monitoring the work, and completing the job. He makes certain the project gets done in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
Tim has collectively worked in the flooring industry for 20 years. He takes pride in providing excellent customer service by educating the consumer, and following up on the status as well as the end product. He is detail oriented, which allows him to find what product will fulfill the customer’s needs and expectations. His ultimate goal is to make the customer’s experience as stress-free as possible. Tim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with a minor in business from University of Oregon and is an Oregon Duck’s fan. He enjoys spending time with his loved ones and friends.
Her goal is to give our clients exceptional customer service. They help answer product and service questions, process orders, prepare correspondences and fulfill customer needs.
Braun is in charge of overseeing all financial transactions of the company. His responsibilities include developing budgets, monitoring transactions, and preparing financial reports.
Melissa's 6 years of experience in design and sales on the central coast make her a valuable asset to our team. She is well-equipped to provide you with both design services and sales assistance.
Having successfully run his own furniture stores in the past, Nathan brings extensive sales experience to the table. Whether you need assistance with small or large projects, he is readily available to assist you in your project planning.
As our bookkeeper, Jana brings a diverse skill set and a valuable perspective to our organization. While she is not on our sales floor, she is here to help with billing and payments as needed.
After many years working at our Bay Area floors location, Ray transitioned into the role of our in-house carpet installer at the new Paso location. His dedication and willingness to learn new skills have helped us greatly in getting the location up and running smoothly. He is also running and managing our warehouse, along with deliveries.
